I am a fifty seven year old woman who 6 months ago was given blood pressure medicine by my doctor. A week later on the follow up visit I told the doctor that he did not discuss my weight or diet. One problem was the amount of sodium I had consumed before going for my visit (1400 mg). I knew that I needed to cut back on amount of sodium I was taking in and also lose weight. The doctor said I was 100 pounds over weight. He asked if I wanted suggestions on diets. As this was not my first go round with a weight problem I told him I would try my own diet. I thought about the diet programs with portioned food and knew that I did not want every meal offered by the diet programs. I then thought about the different companies who offered meals but was concerned about taste. In choosing my first meal I considered the amount of sodium in the different brands. I selected a healthy choice due to the low sodium. I have been hooked ever since. I have only found one or two meals I don't like. I have also added exercise to my weight losing regiment. To date I have lost 59 pounds. Thank you healthy choice for your low sodium and great tasting meals. You have saved my life.
