I lost 100lbs on Healthy Choice

I lost 100 lbs in two years eating Healthy Choice frozen dinners and exercising 3 days a week. I lost 6 dress sizes from a size 26 to a size 14. I can't thank Healthy Choice enough for all my success. I have a new look and a new life. Thank you Healthy Choice!

Amazing - all the diets I ever tried - the Healthy Choice one always works the best!!! Lost 56 llbs eating two a day...cheated while on a cruise - gained back just 4lbs - and lost them 2 days later once home and back on the diet...I have another 45lbs to go.
Having Spine Fusion surgery Wed...and am staying on Healthy Choice when I get back home...so I won't gain the weight back...My doctors were pleasantly stunned when I walked in and they saw how much I lost...as were all my family and friends who are now eating Healthy Choice to lose their weight.

I'm glad to see someone other than myself on this message board. I wish I would have known about this a couple years ago when it looks like it was really active. But then it probably wouldn't have made a difference. I had to get miserable enough and scared enough about my weight to do something about it. My husband having a heart attack was a big wakeup call for both of us.

That's how it was for me and my dad. Except that was six years ago. The point is, we're doing something about it.
We could talk about how awful it was for us to have waited so long -- or we can talk about what we're doing to make things right.
Something that I've found that really helps is keeping a log of exactly what you're doing. I keep it in a blog format, so people can follow my progress. Then, I feel accountable -- and I can also go back and see exactly what I did, in case I need to adjust things slightly.

Hello. Congrats to you and your weight loss victory! I am just starting the journey as of today and have eaten 2 meals today with a small breakfast. I am counting calories per my doctor he says around 1200, but today it has been 1100. I really need some professioal advice from someone who has been there like you. Hi Could I get some information on your success. My husband and I started on healthy choice meals last week. Although we are staying clear of the scales for a bit we can tell we have lost a little. However, I was wondering if you could give me a idea on what and how much you ate (what I mean is did you snack or eat anything other than the two healthy choice meals each day. What we have been doing is using healthy choice and cutting calories but your success story is so inspiring I just wondered if you had a better plan than we are doing. The healthy choice meals are good and flavorful and we are satisfied with what we are eating. Thanks for any input you have...and God Bless.

Congratulation!!!!!!! My husband and I have been eating Healthy Choice meals since the end of November and he has lost 41 and I have lost 45 pounds. We eat cereal for breakfast, a Healthy Choice meal for lunch, a salad and Healthy Choice meal for supper. My husband takes vegetables to work for snacks. We only use two tablespoons of dressisng on our salad. I would have lost more, but I cut my calories down to low, so I had to up them.

I hve been on healthy choice for 4 weeks and have lost 45 pounds. It is good to have a snack in order to keep from being excessively hungry, or if you get a hunger pain in general. For breakfast I eat oatmeal with a fruit cut up in it(strawberry, blueberries, peaches etc) or have 1 piece wheat toast with yogurt spread on it with sliver of fruit slices or peanut butter). 2 hours later I have a snack (any one of these) cup of grapes or anypiece of fruit , cup plain popcorn, small box of raisins, 3 tomatoe slices with grated cheese on top, or a snack bar.
Before you know it it's lunch time, then between lunch and dinner I will have soup broth 1/2 cup which does cut hunger.

Just wondering how much more weight you've lost....were you exercising too when u lost the 45 pounds the first month??

Congrats on losing that much weight! Gosh I need to lose roughly 50 pounds and I just started today on Healthy Choice. Could you please give me some pointers? I thought 2 meals a day and breakfast, and exercise 3-5 times per week. I would really appreciate any advice you can give. God bless and again CONGRATS!!! Sincerely, Karla

That sounds good!! Just don't cut your calories down to low because then your body goes into starvation mode and you don't lose as much. I've been losing around ten pounds a month without doing a lot of exercise. On nice days I do go for a walk.

Hey Karlawestx I think it is great that you have the determination to lose that much weight but it is important to remember that taking your time is very important. set small goals because dropping 50 pounds in 4 months is a huge committment. I have lost 30 pounds in 2 months but the weight quickly came back on when the training i had was done. It should be about changing your lifestyle, as I am learning this time around. So set your goals small and by the time you know it, you will have reached your 50 pounds. another thing, you spoke about exercising 3-5 times a week. if you have not been regularly active, start at 3 times max and remember that consistency and time is everything. I was a maniac at working out and my workouts would last as long as 2 hours sometimes which is a HUGE NO NO. You end up burning all the calories that your body actually needs and that is when you go into starvation mode. your body also does a relapse in which if it does not know when the next meal is coming and you burn all your calories for the day, it will store and store negatively. so moderation truly is everything. try working out no more than 3 times for 30 min. a piece a day so your body is not burning all the calories you need.
also, a great support is alli. its fda approved and it helps you to burn 50% more of the fat in your body through your whole process than just you dieting alone.

This is all too much to absorb! I can't believe the stories of weight loss. I never realized people use these meals as a diet plan. I will have to try this.
