Today I used my coupon to buy a lunch. There were several selections available and all of them except the Sweet & Sour Chicken were loaded with more than one-third the daily limit of Sodium. When I got home and heated my selection in the microwave I read the list of ingredients on the end panel. How can you call your products Healthy Choice when I see that High Fructose Corn Syrup is listed as one of the ingredients and the amount of sodium and sugar is high? In addition how much did you have to p;ay the American Heart Association so that their icon can be printed on the packaging?
I will not buy another item of yours and will certainly not recommend any to my friends.

The amount of sodium and the sugar as well as the ingredients weren't hiding when you bought it.  You had every opportunity to read it prior to purchase.

Now lets compare, the Sweet n' Sour chicken complete meal to say.. a meal from Taco Bell (was the first place I thought of, and figured McD's gets enough crap already)

Sweet n' Sour:
Serving size: 1 Meal (340 g)
Calories: 440
Trans Fat (0 g)
Cholesterol (20 mg) 7%
Sodium (480 mg) 20%
Dietary Fiber (6 g) 24%
Sugar (28 g)
Protein (14 g)

Grilled Stuft Burrito – Beef
Serving size: 325g
Calories: 700
Trans Fat: 1g
Cholesterol: 60mg
Sodium: 2100mg
Dietary Fiber: 12g
Sugar: 6g
Protein: 27g

That's assuming you don't order the combo meal to get chips, cheese sauce and a soft drink.

High Fructose corn syrup yes IS bad for you, in large quantities.  However depending which HFCS they use, it can be sweeter then regular sugar, thus having to use less to achieve the relative sweetness they desire for the recipie.  Also it would have a reduced cost (which is actually a reduced cost to the consumer as we would have to pay for regular).  Using other sweetners such as Aspartame woudld have Phenylalanine in it, which has various other side effects all together, a different taste, and would add yet another possible allergine to the food.

'Oceanwater' - You have a very tasteful name for one whom cannot consume salt because of high blood pressure. Do you realize that about 2000 milligrams is what you need. You were most likely taking in 7000 to 10000 milligrams a day. Salt is very easy to and hey I say 450 in a complete meal is better than 720 in 4 tablespoons of salad dressing alone. Makes us think a bit about salt intake levels.

Plus, there are a lot of options now, such as 'low sodium' items. It's called learning your high and low blood pressures and educating oneself. Just don't read the labels - self educate.
